As-Salaamu 'alaykum,
At MUTAN, we are a beacon of unity and empowerment for Muslim teachers across Nigeria.
Our association stands as a fortress against the challenges facing Islamic education in schools and the education sector, such as inadequate attention to Islam by Muslim teachers, fragmented Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN), substandard Islamic Studies teaching, and a trend of Muslim students converting to other religions.
Prior to its formation, Muslim morning assemblies were only held on Fridays in a few public schools.
