MUTAN Quiz Grand Finale Holds Thursday
The final of the second edition of the Muslim Teachers’ Association of Nigeria (MUTAN) Science and Islamic Studies Quiz will hold this Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the LASUBEB Hall, Maryland, Lagos.
According to the Chairman of the planning committee, Alhaji Lateef Busari, the event will feature finalists from six primary schools from different parts of Lagos State.
The finalists are Oshoare Summayah, and Haruna Ibrahim of Ikosi Nursery and Primary School, Kosofe Local Government, Abubakar Ibrahim and Sulaiman Olaleye of Ansar ud deen Nursery and Primary School I, Araromi Ale, Badagry.

Others are Mohammed Adamo and Muhammad Muaadh of Irepodun Primary School Alapere, Kosofe, Odugbesi Sherif and Adebayo Omotunde of Community Nursery and Primary School, Shangisa, Magodo, Kosofe and Gawatta Muhammad and Amid Bello of Irepodun Nursery and Primary School 1, Apapa.
The 12 finalists from six schools emerged from the two preliminary rounds which featured schools from all the local government areas in the state.
The first edition which was held last year featured only secondary schools was won by Community Senior Secondary School, Workyard in the senior category and Vetland Junior Grammar School, Ifako Ijaiye.
According to Busari who is also the Deputy President of MUTAN is to foster knowledge of science and Islamic Studies in the students and pupils.
Winners will go home with cash and material prizes just as other participants would also get consolation prizes and certificate of participation.
The occasion is expected to draw eminent personalities in education as well as members and officials of MUTAN.
The MUTAN is an association of Muslim teachers and non teaching members of staff in public primary and secondary schools.
